Salutations to lord Vishnu, who has earth in his feet, sky in his navel, wind as his breath and the sun and moon as his eyes. Salutations to lord Vishnu, whose ears are the directions, whose head is the heaven, whose face is the fire and whose abdomen is the ocean. Salutations to lord Vishnu, within whom whole universe rests with its different beings viz. gods, humans, birds, animals, serpents, asuras, gandharvas and daithyas. Salutaions to lord Vishnu, who is the lord of three worlds, who has an admirable and wonderful structure and who is the supreme lord.

I prostrate before lord Vishnu, whose divine body is decorated with the gorgeous kaustubha gem, who is surrounded by holy people and who has eyes that resemble pretty lotus.
